Our Mission:

Our mission is to build a brand rooted in reputation and elevated by experience — where every tour reflects our commitment to quality, flexibility, and unforgettable moments on the water.

Meet the Owners

We’re Kalli Quicke and Nick Beckman — the team behind Destin Boat Co.

We started this company to bring the kind of boat day we always searched for but rarely found: one that’s easy, fun, and completely customizable.

After years of enjoying the water with friends and family, we knew we wanted to help others experience those same unforgettable moments.

Why We Do This

Destin Boat Co was born from a shared love of being on the water.

For us, there’s nothing better than a day spent cruising, relaxing, and enjoying the freedom that only comes with a boat and a good plan.

We created this business to help others experience that same feeling — without the hassle or rigid schedules.

What Makes Us Different

We believe your boat day should be built around you.

No crowded tours or one-size-fits-all routes. You choose the boat, the locations, how long you want to be out — and even make changes along the way.

Whether it’s Crab Island, dolphin watching, or just chasing the sunset, you’re in control of the adventure.

What You Can Expect

Premium boats, experienced captains, and great service from start to finish.

We keep things simple, flexible, and fun — with online booking, easy add-ons, and real people behind the scenes making sure your day goes exactly how you want it to.

This isn’t just another boat tour. It’s your custom experience on the water — and we’re here to make it unforgettable.

Where We Operate

Crab Island – Destin’s Most Famous Sandbar

Crab Island isn’t really an island — it’s a submerged sandbar located just north of the Destin Bridge, in the heart of Choctawhatchee Bay. What makes it famous is the unique combination of ankle- to waist-deep crystal-clear water, a vibrant floating party scene, and its unmatched location. It’s one of the most iconic and Instagram-worthy spots in all of Florida.

Why Everyone Loves Crab Island:

  • Shallow, calm waters make it perfect for relaxing, swimming, floating, and hanging out.

  • It’s surrounded by beautiful views of Destin Harbor, the Gulf, and East Pass.

  • During peak season, it comes alive with floating vendors, food boats, music, and hundreds of anchored boats — from pontoons to luxury yachts.

  • It’s only accessible by boat, which adds to the exclusive, on-the-water vibe.

Choctawhatchee Bay

Choctawhatchee Bay is one of the most breathtaking waterways along the Emerald Coast. Spanning from Fort Walton Beach to Destin, this expansive bay is known for its smooth cruising conditions, high-end waterfront neighborhoods, and incredible dolphin encounters.

Why It’s a Favorite:

  • Home to some of the area’s most beautiful waterfront homes — perfect for sightseeing and relaxing while you cruise by luxury estates.

  • Offers the best chances to spot wild dolphins in their natural habitat. They often swim near the boats, making it a favorite for families and photographers.

  • Wide, calm waters mean plenty of room to cruise, play, or anchor and float without the crowds you might find elsewhere.

  • Ideal for sunset tours, private excursions, and laid-back half-day adventures.

Santa Rosa Sound

Santa Rosa Sound is a beautiful stretch of protected water running between Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island, and Navarre. Known for its glass-like surface and quiet vibe, this waterway is perfect for peaceful cruises, wildlife watching, and laid-back exploration.

What Makes It Special:

  • It’s home to Spectre Island — a quiet, sandy escape that’s perfect for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying a more secluded stop on your tour.

  • This is also where you’ll sometimes spot the famous traveling Mermaid Mailbox, a quirky local tradition where boaters leave notes, drawings, or small treasures inside a colorfully decorated mailbox stuck in the sound.

  • The sound’s calm, shallow waters make it ideal for floating mats, paddle toys, and family-friendly stops.

East Pass (Destin Pass)

East Pass is the channel that connects Choctawhatchee Bay to the Gulf of Mexico — and it’s right where the action meets the open water. Located just across the bridge from Crab Island, this area offers incredible views, boating energy, and access to some of the best hidden beaches in the area.

Why Guests Love It:

  • Just Across from Crab Island: Want to see the fun without jumping into the crowd? We can cruise by or pull up nearby so you can experience the vibe from a distance.

  • Beach Access: We often anchor along the shoreline, giving you a more relaxed, private beach experience with soft sand and calm water.

  • Scenic Channel Views: Watch boats head out to sea, see dolphins near the pass, and take in the excitement of Destin’s waterways without the noise.

  • Great Add-On Stop: It’s the perfect stop for a mid-tour break or a peaceful wrap-up before heading back to the dock.
